Woodford Spiritualist Church |
We’re delighted to offer our church hall for workshops that reflect our values and comply with legal safety standards, as well as the guidelines set by the Spiritualists’ National Union (SNU) and the Charity Commission. |
In order for you to use of the church for your event, the committee will need information about you and your event. You also need to know what we do and do not provide. |
To ensure proper planning and alignment with our obligations, all event proposals must be submitted in writing at least one month in advance and prior to a scheduled committee meeting. (The committee will make speedy decisions for a funeral request) |
We fully understand you may not be a teacher in the formal sense, but be an experienced teacher for spirit. Below is a guide to help you: (Highlighted text is what we will require) |
You need a clear idea (objective) of what you intend to teach, along with a compelling title for your workshop. |
Now may be a good time if you have not done so already, refine the various points to teach. (Tip over estimate how long each task takes, and do not overload your workshop) Now you able to allot enough session time. Find a time and date space by using the Churches Diary Page to find your Preferred Date, Start & end times. Now you are able to write about what your attendees will be doing. |
A designated committee member will keep you informed throughout the approval process.
